Threshold kicked off the event season last month with the Mitie London Revolution on the 17th and 18 May. The sun was shining as cyclists took on the challenge of cycling 192 miles around London in a single weekend. With over 1,500 cyclists on the road each day, this was Threshold’s biggest event to date, and the biggest multi-day sportive in the UK.
On Sunday riders took on Box Hill and Tandridge Hill to be rewarded with stunning views over London and the Surrey Hills. Then it was down into London, over Tower Bridge and on to the finish at Lee Valley. With a medal and chocolate bar, riders were left to reflect on their ride and go home with a smile on their face.
With nearly £50,000 raised for charity and fantastic feedback from sponsors and riders, Threshold’s challenge now is to make next year’s event bigger and better.
