Introducing Dulux Race to the King

Having transformed the London Revolution with their family-friendly basecamp takeover and indefatigable cheer squads, Dulux is now turning its attention to the world of Ultras.

Part of the Threshold Trail Series, Dulux Race to the King is an ultraaccessible, Ultra Marathon taking in a route through the beautiful South Downs and stunning Chichester Harbour along the Sussex coast. Over 1500 participants will tackle a newly designed figure of 8 course that starts and finishes at the historic Goodwood Racecourse.   

Dulux Race to the King’s new format is designed to make it the most ultra-accessible Ultra Marathon we have ever put on and Dulux are set to take it to the next level this summer. The course starts and finishes at Goodwood Racecourse Basecamp, making travel logistics easier for participants and supporters alike. Walkers, joggers and runners will be able to choose from a 50km or 100km route, with two equally scenic loops on the fully marked 100km figure of 8.  

Dulux believes in using the power of colour to help transform lives by uplifting communities and making living spaces more fun. They have been working with Threshold Sports since 2014 to support incredible experiences, as Nick Tuppen, CEO – Threshold Sports explains “Dulux has been a fantastic partner of our events since their debut in 2014 riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats as part of Ride Across Britain.
