Morgan Stanley's Cycling Challenge

Connecting through Cycling

Morgan Stanley wanted to bring the company back together after the Covid-caused hiatus.

Their aim was to drive fundraising for the nominated charities: The Felix Project, CHAS & EMEA, whilst connecting other EMEA social clubs and EMEA diversity networks using an event that had a family friendly element.

What did Threshold recommend?

Threshold wanted to deliver a rewarding experience that was challenging enough to drive high levels of fundraising.

We proposed a 2-day cycle from Manchester to London in September 2022 for 200-300 riders, culminating with an informal finish line celebration and a selection of family friendly activities for 400 supporters to be part of the fun.

The route was made sure to be suitable for riders of all abilities, allowing everyone to enjoy the challenge and raise money for charity.

Who took part?

  •  200-300 cyclists
  • Participants from England, Scotland, Ireland, Hungry & Germany

How did we do?

  • Over 250k was raised for the nominated charities
  • Had 100% attendance
  • 99% of participants said it had increased their sense of pride working with Morgan Stanley and would be interested in taking part in a future event
  • The route received an average rating of 4.6/5
  • The crew received an average rating of 4.8/5
