Threshold have worked with Bupa the last six years to create a unique, one-day, relationship building activity day. Bupa’s aim was to get outside and take part in different competitive challenges in small teams to strengthen relationships with their clients for all fitness and ability levels.
One year saw 140 participants arrive at the beautiful estate of Wasing Park near Reading. A festival atmosphere was created at our mini ‘basecamp’ and four challenges lay ahead of each team of five.
What did Threshold recommend?
Throughout the day teams took part in mountain biking, ‘shredding’, instrument making and axe throwing. Each challenge required an element of teamwork and support to ensure that the maximum amount of points were scored. After an intense day, the winner was revealed and the celebrations commenced.
To kick off the evening of celebrations the group were surprised by performers who did the traditional Haka dance. Not only this but the group then learnt it themselves. This truly created a united group atmosphere as guests then relaxed into the evening surrounded by good food, drink and entertainment.
